1.: Me wondering how to put up the hammock... 2/3.: These nice gentlemen helped us put up the hammocks 4.: Vonnick and I, very happy in our hammocks..if we only had known what was to come..due to huge waves my hammock slowly went down to the floor and the floor was wet from the waves and rain..so was my backpack..we also woke up a few times when the ferry stopped in other harbors to let on/off passengers and cargo..very confusing...hihi...the toilet couldn't flush, and the waves were big..so imagine how the floor was..very nice when you're wearing flip flops..mmmmmh...arriving in San Carlos next morning all the other passengers came out from the TV room after a good night sleep..and we asked ourselves why we didn't do the same..hi,hi..

The breakfast stand..coffee w/without milk and bread w/without butter..The only place open when the ferry from Ometepe arrived.  Me waiting at the migration office.We first waited 3 hours for it to open, then another 2 hours for the boat to leave...at least we got to catch up with some sleep :)

After having pizza in Venecia, Angelica took us to the hot springs, called Recreo Verde, in the cloud forest nearby, beautiful! :)

Cave of Death.Because of toxic gasses this cave is called Cueva de la Muerte.There is no oxygen in the lower part of the cave, so when she lowered the torch, the fire went out.There were also various dead birds on the ground. List of minerals found in the water Angelica and I enjoying the warm water :)

The main square in Venecia At the military station, where all boats have to stop, they told us that police might be at the dock in San Carlos, and the law is that all passengers have to wear life vests, so we all got one with the instruction to put it on short before arriving San Carlos :)

Our first Indiana Jones sombrero pic! :D Me in the very blue room, in a veeeery interesting hostel in San Carlos. Vonnick had to get up to use the loo, and ended up getting to see a prostitute at work..niiice.. :P At 5 am a rooster woke us up, and kept us awake until it was time to get up and catch the boat to El Castillo..a wonderful night in San Carlos..but who cares, that afternoon we had the best ceviche ever..mmmmmmh! :)
